Where do you live, and what type of vehicle do you drive?
I live in Aurora, IL. And the service was actually for my wife; she drives a 2010 Buick Enclave.
How did you find Openbay?
I found Openbay simply through a Google search. I was looking for ways to find an independent mechanic. My wife’s car had recently come out of warranty, so I wanted to see what other options were out there, beyond the dealership. Typically through word of mouth. Sometimes I would look for shops through Google, but it’s hard to get a feel for their reputation from the Google reviews alone. I used to do some basic maintenance and repairs on my own, but I usually don’t have the time to consistently do that.
How was the experience with Auto Experts?
Everything went great. They were very professional; explained the issue clearly and set expectations for when the car would be returned. We had initially picked the shop because of its proximity, and the price was in line with what we’d been quoted previously.The shop even offered to follow up in a few weeks, to be sure the car was still in good shape.
Would you book through Openbay again?
I would certainly go to this shop again. When you get the service you expect, it’s hard to think of a reason not to go again. And I’d like to work with Openbay again; it’s useful to check my maintenance schedule and track repairs. I’ll work with Openbay again, especially for bigger repairs, to confirm I’m getting a fair price for the service.
