By now, you’ve probably heard a thing or two from Bentley about its new EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept, the high performance, two-seater.
We took a closer look at its design, and have never seen anything like it.
Bentley’s head of design, Luc Donckerwolke, challenged his team to use every material in a way it had never been used before. The result? A car with crazy detail, from the “6″ behind the matrix grill (a nod to its Le Mans-winning days) to copper brake calipers and heavy gunmetal-style knurling throughout the interior, also peppered everywhere with copper. The door panels look like quilted leather from afar, but are actually made from a single block of wood, carved into a quilted pattern. This concept must weigh about 8,000 lbs! We wonder whether and when it might come to market.
Would you buy one if you could?
