This week, Openbay displayed at the LA Auto Show’s Connected Car Expo, within the Nokia Growth Partners’ Innovation Zone. We explained Openbay, gave demos of OpenbayConnect, and had a great time.
Following the show, we hit the LA Auto Show’s first press day. Below is a sneak peek at some of the ones that caught our eye, and there’ll be more to come.
Here’s the $150K Acura NSX.

Alfa Romeo had a great display, with a beautiful old ‘68 Stradale Nestled between a 4C Coupe and a 4C Spider. Here’s the new Giulia Quadrifoglio, which features a cool little four-leaf clover motif.

Over at BMW, we found the aggressively styled M4 GTS Coupe, the S 1000 RR bike, and of course the i8.

Galpin Motors, an enterprising dealer group, had its own display in a huge hall downstairs. Here are a couple of matte-painted vehicles: the new Volvo XC90 in a matte red (we’ve seen them in red, but never in matte…), and an Audi S7, which we loved – that one was darker in person, but it was tough to get a good phone shot.

Galpin also had some fun, displaying the Mystery Machine, including none other than Scooby Doo as its driver. Ruh roh!

And to top off this post, we’ll end with the GMC Sierra, which towered above all the other vehicles on posts high in the air. Let’s cross fingers for no earthquakes!

The LA Auto Show opens to the public from November 20-29. See it while you can!
